After 7 months of extensive research, an idea came into reality. A balloon flight to the edge of space (stratosphere) with the altitudes of 60,000 – 100,000 ft was launched on April 22, 2016, 2 AM. This is just one of the things we can do with Philippine K-12 Senior High School on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).

That’s me with the thumbs up and with a blue beanie! (Design Lead)

This flight is the first of its kind in the Philippines as a school activity. The project consists of physics and biology experiments done by high school students and elementary students. The whole mission cannot be done without the guidance of Sr. Sto. Nino de Cebu. Exploration beyond limits with the balance of our faith and science.

Records Made:

>First High Altitude Balloon Flight in the Philippines as a school activity
>First Religious Image (Snr. Sto. Niño de Cebu) Ever Sent Into Space

Exploration is curiosity put into action.

Payload close up.

The data that we got.

> The stratosphere is -29 degrees celsus.
> Both animals died due to cold conditions.

Then a few days later we were interviewed by Maayong Buntag Kapamilya and DYAB Teleradio by Dx Lapid.12524150_1118483358216485_685077324837799677_n.jpg
and a short stop at MOR (next room)13119074_1362749173742619_6409896662259752501_n.jpg

This was really the greatest achievement for us, our  greatest, spectacular moments of our lives. All thanks to Mark Go (owner of the school) he also supported us during the mission, Wilfredo K. Pardorla Jr (Mission Director) Christopher Caballa Jr. (Mission Specialist) and also the rest of the team! This is worth sharing for me on this page.
